FREE SUMMER CONCERT SERIES
HEATS UP KURE BEACH

Kure Beach, NC - The summer months are hot and so is the entertainment scheduled for the Pleasure Island Free Summer Concert Series.

On the second and fourth Friday of June, July and August, plan on bringing your blankets and lawn chairs so the whole family can boogie the night away to some of the best local and regional bands. The Pleasure Island Chamber of Commerce proudly brings you the 2010 Free Summer Concert Series featuring:

June 11 Mako Band (Classic Rock/Blues/Top 40)
June 25 Spare Change (Rock/Pop)
July 9 Wahl Project (Jazz)
July 23 Katelyn Marks (Country)
August 13 Jam Sandwich (Classic Rock)
August 27 Blind Lemon Pledge (Blues/Classic Rock)

Entering its ninth year, the Free Summer Concert Series brings you an evening of quality entertainment that is sure to please the entire family right down to the youngest ones. So be sure to pack a picnic and head down to the Fort Fisher Air Force Recreation Area in Kure Beach for an evening of free family fun. Concerts begin at 6:30 p.m. and parking is free.
